Mapping out the social enterprises of Southeast Asia by Gearing Up

Have you ever thought of going on a cycling trip with your friends through several countries to raise awareness of social enterprises? That is exactly what Katie Moss and Joseph Thomas have been doing for the past months for their project called Gearing Up with the support of the British Council, leaving behind their jobs and cycling through South-East Asia looking for successful social entrepreneurs.

Although, the pair has yet to finish their journey, they have already appeared on television in Vietnam and Laos during their trip as well as met the British Ambassador in Laos. Featuring more and more social enterprises throughout South-East Asia, they are increasing awareness about how these successful not-for-profit organizations are a few of the many essential steps toward reaching gender equality and improving living conditions.

If you would like to keep up with their journey, head to their homepage or follow them on social media.
